CIT Main Page Current Projects Energy II Links Energy Programs Philippines’ Energy & Clean Air Project (ECAP) Past Projects		Who We Are • What We Do Energy Sector Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (Energy II) IQC Period of Performance: April 1, 2004 – September 29, 2011 AED is a subcontractor to PA Government Services on the Energy Sector Technical Advisory and Assistance Services IQC. Under this IQC, technical assistance is being provided in the areas of energy sector reform, utility management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and technology transfer. The technical assistance activities under this IQC will generally fall into three broad categories: 1. To establish the necessary legal, regulatory, and managerial conditions for effective governance of the energy sector, for regional energy cooperation and exchange, and for sectors in which energy is a major factor. 2. To improve the technical efficiency and operational performance of energy institutions (utilities, energy service companies, businesses, NGOs, etc.). 3. To assist energy consumers in addressing the various social, economic and political dimensions of energy service provision and in participating in energy sector decision-making.
